Our restaurant’s story began when Gino first arrived in Vietnam in 1993 – right away he fell in love with this beautiful country, which led him to decide to come back in 1995. Then in 1996, a first location opened in Hoan Kiem district, in Hanoi’s old quarter – under the name ‘La Dolce Vita’ – to share with the city the knowledge and love for authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. After an unfortunate fire which burned the first restaurant to the ground, Gino and his family re-opened under ‘Luna d’Autunno’ in 1999 – the name itself being a tribute to his wife, her Vietnamese name’s translation in Italian.
Over the years Luna opened more branches, from Phan Thiet, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Da Nang, to Cambodia in the capital Phnom Penh and the coastal city of Sihanouk Ville. Each Luna always had its very own style, but all restaurants kept the focus on honest, traditional Italian food. To date, the Luna name continues to live strong in Hanoi, Hoi An and Da Nang.
Luna d’Autunno is only interested in providing our customers with the best, certified products imported directly from Italy. With also a very extensive wine list, Luna offers a quality eating experience at reasonable prices.
The restaurant is open from 9am to 11pm, we serve all day!
